Yesterday I took Whitney on a special trip to Target to pick out her birthday present from Mimi. My mom sent her a Target gift card (Whit totally loves Target...no idea where she got that from...ha!) Anyway, she was so excited! As soon as we got in the car she started talking about how she wanted a new barbie...she shopped around a little bit when we got there but basically just stuck to looking at barbies and in the end chose this cute barbie that really rides her bike (Papi would love this choice) we had so much fun! Thanks Mimi!

Waking up to the Wiggles!

So...check these awesome jammies out! As you all know Whit has some major love for The Wiggles! I found theses footsie jams on ebay for a few dollars and Whit loves them so much I have to wash them DAILY...she won't go to sleep without them on....this begins to create a problem (it is not awesome to make sure they are clean daily) but more so because this is San Antonio and fleece footie pj's are not ideal 90% of the time! So...I started looking on ebay for some summer Wiggles jammies...none really to be found and then I had an idea!!! They sell iron on transfers for cheap!!! I ordered some today and I am going to put them on her cooler jammies!!! Yippee problem solved!!! Pics to come after there arrival.....

The girls and I have not left the house since Thursday as I mentioned we have been fighting some little bugs (cold and flu)....but yesterday we did get in a little break :) It was 75 and sunny and I just had to get them out! Mal was perked up enough I thought she would enjoy the sun and fresh air. After a quick trip for some much needed groceries we went on a walk and played at the park! It was so much fun! We are back in today but everyone seems to be on the mend and hopefully we will be back to our regular activities by Wednesday! :) Yippee! Love to you all!

My little Pal Mal is sick today...we were walking out the door to preschool and she got sick :( Poor little thing! She laid in bed until about noon and then she and Whitney and I played games for a couple hours. Now she is back to laying down watching a movie. It is so hard when they are sick :( Say a little prayer for a speedy recovery. In the mean time we will enjoy our quiet time snuggling up and playing games!

My Husband!

As you all know I went home to Kansas this past weekend to meet my precious new nephew, Leo! I had the best time and being there was so important and just time that was so precious to me. My sweet husband promised me back when I found out my sister was expecting that he would get me home to meet him no matter what.
He truly kept his word...we booked my flight and all was well until snow hit Dallas the night before I was leaving and all my flights were canceled and there were no flights to be found. Scott was at the airport at four in the morning trying to find me anyway home...after lots of time and effort he got me two separate tickets...one to Nashville and then and another one from Nashville to Kansas City.
He knew how much it meant to me to go home and I am just so thankful for all his effort. Scott also did a great job with the girls all weekend and even managed to have the house picked up and roses waiting for me :) What a good hubby! I am truly blessed to be married to my best friend! I am so thankful for you Scotty and love you more than words could ever say! XOXOXO

Our sweet Whitney Grace LOVES to spend her days dressed up from head to toe!!! She loves to look like a princess and is on a kick where she will not let me dress her in pants....only princess attire! This afternoon I was making some hair bows for a friend and Whit decided to "borrow" some ribbon and give me a little "jumping" performance. I took a little video...I hope you enjoy it :) Just a small glimpse into our little princesses daily sillyness :-)

Okay so I am totally IN LOVE with and proud to introduce my nephew....Leo! My sister Amy and her husband Adam just welcomed their first born! I flew home to Kansas for the weekend to meet him and I am telling you he is the cutest little boy ever! He is just so stinkin' cute and cuddly. I am so excited for them and I am counting down the days until I can see him again! Love you guys!!!!!!!

Quiet Play

This morning the girls were supposed to be having some quiet play while I was getting everything set up for a craft and I heard Whitney singing....I of course grabbed the camera and went to see what was going on. She was in full costume on Mallory's top bunk bed playing...singing to a whole "audience" of stuffed animals. LOVE IT!!!!

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY WHITNEY!!

I want to start this post by saying how overwhelmingly blessed I feel at this very moment. Watching Whitney surrounded by friends that love her and having a house full of friends gathered to celebrate our daughters birthday just moves me to tears. We had so much fun and I am just so thankful! We had 7 families and 15 kids here and it just couldn't have been more fun! I am so amazed at how God works in our lives. When we moved here a year and a half ago we did not know a soul and now we have a big group of friends...HE is truly with us.

That being said....

IT'S A WIGGLY PARTY!!!!

After lots of work we were able to pull off a WIGGLES PARTY (most of the Wiggles supplies have been discontinued and are only available in Australia) and Whitney couldn't have been anymore excited!!!

We miss all of our Kansas family and friends and we love you and you were all with us in spirit!

Cowboy Kevin Returns!

It's that time of year again! "Let's Rodeo San Antonio" The cowboy breakfasts kicked off all over the city this week...including at Coker Day School! Cowboy Kevin returned to perform roping tricks for the kiddos. It was so cute and they all had lots of fun! They finished out the morning with a hearty "Cowboy Breakfast" LOVE IT!!!! We are going to check out the rodeo this year before it leaves town....watch for that to come :-)
