The kids had so much fun picking out and packing their Operation Christmas Child box! Today we are taking them to the drop off location and the girls are so excited to see all the boxes again. It is amazing how they talk about this all year long. They love to write a note to their child and include a picture. They love watching the video about it and guessing which child got their box. It is such a fun family tradition and I love what it teaches the kids. If you and your family aren't familiar with Operation Christmas Child there is still time! You can drop off through tomorrow. You just get any shoebox... Pick a boy or a girl and the age range and then fill the shoe box with items of your choice off the suggested list. Go to Samaritan's Purse now and make a child's Christmas special this year! You can even pay your 7.00 shipping donation online and print the barcode to attach to your box so you can find out what Country it goes to. Last year was priceless because ours went to Mexico but the girls were convinced it arrived by elephant (it shows some of the boxes arriving by elephant to villages in Africa in the video) I couldn't crush their excitement so I said " You never know" :) Tis the season y'all... And the reason for the season is Jesus. That's what we try to teach our kiddos above all else this time of year. Opetation Christmas Child is one great way to help teach that to kiddos :) Kansas LOVE!

Okay y'all know Bentley was a total mad man in the dollar store....he was all about packing his shoe box...the best was when he got this GIANT foam sword and was waving it around and then proceeded to try to shove it in the shoebox...the list clearly states "NO WEAPONS" sorry B bud ;)

The girls had a total blast at the Olathe South Golden Girls dance clinic yesterday! They had lots of fun with their friends and even more fun dancing with the high school girls! :) Bentley had lots of fun watching... He was standing up clapping and waving! Such a fun morning! :)
The kiddos best buddy Uncle Bench came by Friday for hang out time! They had way too much fun playing! They love their Bench so much! :) Come back and play soon! They are already planning their next plot for movie making. Oh and they asked if you could have edits done to bring with you! ;)
He is baaaaccckkkk! The kiddos spent yesterday prepping for him... Chippy the elf that is...wrapping barbies and making him a bed sprinkled with cinnamon. Chippy returned through the girls bedroom window last night. He opened the screen and all! They are so excited! I must say they were a little flipped out at first especially Whit... She was afraid he was going to jump out! Hahah :) Tis' the season! They ended up finding him covered in cinnamon tucked in the bed they made nestled in the tree with a note that read "Thankful to be home" :) so much fun! Welcome home Chippy! You have been missed!

So, My little man and I headed to the poles yesterday. No not the North Pole...the voting pole! It was both of our first times! :) I don't want to discuss why I have chosen to not vote in the past but I will tell you one of the main reasons I chose to vote this time...My daughters. Mallory came home talking all about the election and said, "Mom can you believe women haven't always been able to vote?" and went on to talk all about voting and women's right and how its so great we can all vote now...once we are 18 ;) So after that...I knew I couldn't let me girls down...so off to the "pole" B and I went.....

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

I went on a movie and dinner date with my favorite girls! We went to see Wreck it Ralph in 3D...such a cute movie! I totally reccomend you go check it out! After the movie we went out to dinner...girls choice. They picked Applebee's :) Grilled Cheese for Mal and Chicken Tenders for Whit...as long as they have those choices on the kids menu it will always be there favorite place to eat! Ha :) I am so thankful for an afternoon with these little sweeties! I love you cutie patooties! :)

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
