Bowling!

After the Pump it Up party we Scott was home from work so we went and picked him up and then met the Bley's (who had Mallory) and we all went bowling!!! SO MUCH FUN! You all know that we are one heck of a bowling family....not so much in the score department but in the love and amount :) The Bley's had a good laugh at Scott's three ball bag and that we both have our own bowling shoes :) Too funny! We all had a great time! It was Peyton and Lexi's first time and they love it already! I am sure there is a lot more bowling in the girls future!!! TEXAS LOVE!

Pump it up!

This past Sunday Whitney was invited to her friend, Aiden's birthday party at Pump It Up. Scott had to work so Mallory went for a play date to her friends house. It was such a treat for Whitney and I to do something together just the two of us! It just could not have been any more fun!!! We had the BEST time! I was nervous because in the past Whitney has never been willing to get inside bounce houses but since mommy was allowed in to she went for it! We had the so much fun and I could hardly get her to leave!!! Enjoy the pictures! LOVE from TEXAS!

Flower surprise!

My sweet sister Amy surprised me last week by having flowers delivered as a thank you for her baby shower! They were SO pretty! I love them....they still look beautiful and are brightening up our kitchen! What a wonderful surprise! Amy is doing well...she has less than four weeks until her due date! I can NOT wait for my precious nephew to arrive! I am asking all of you for prayers for my sis as she approaches her due date. Please pray that she stays feeling well and finishes out the last days of work without being to exhausted. Pray that she and Adam enjoy there time together and get lots of rest before they become parents and I also pray that Amy has the delivery she is hoping for....natural with no c-section and no induction. I love you so much sister! Praying every day and can't wait to be there!

Play Date!

The girls besties game over last Friday for a play date! They had SO much fun! They made candy necklaces and spent lots of time stamping with fun Valentine stamps! Most of the day was spent with them putting on shows and playing doctor :) They always have so much fun together! I love the sound of all the laughter :) My favorite was when they got out the infamous wardrobe box they love to play with it and filled it up with stuffed animals and then proceeded to all 4 jump inside it :) Silly girls!

Merry Christmas Mommy!

We are safely back in Texas and back in the full swing of things. As soon as we got back we had Mallory's best friends 5th birthday party at Build-A-Bear (so fun and just the cutest!) Mallory had preschool this week and Whitney had Mother's Day Out on Wednesday. I dove in and started the dreaded potty training in full force on Monday....so far we are moving in the right direction....she goes if I set the timer and "encourage" her but if I don't say anything she does it about half of the time....I figure you have to start somewhere right? We are doing well and just enjoying this South Texas weather.... :)

I just had to share this piece of artwork from my precious Whitney! It was my Christmas present that the teachers helped her make in Mother's Day Out....her teacher said...."I am so sorry I tried everything but she did not want me to take her picture!" Hilarious! This will get wrapped up and placed in the Christmas treasures that I will get out every year!

Love to all from Texas!

Little Monkey Bizness

Yesterday we went to the new Little Monkey Bizness over on Shawnee Mission Pkwy (for my Kansas City friends) it is totally AWESOME!!! It is geared for 8 and under.....but I would say 6 and under is about perfect....they have a cafe...with coffee drinks, snacks, lunch etc....it is so cool! You can see the kids from the tables in the cafe and you can also take your drinks down with you to the play area. They even have a cool art room. I totally recommend it! We went with Mimi, Aunt Amy, our dear friend Jamie and her precious little girl Sophia! It was such a great time! LOVE!

Common Grounds Cafe!

There are lots of different things we miss about living in Kansas...of course the main thing is being near our family and friends. But there are lots of other things to....like knowing all the back roads without even looking for a street sign or firing up the GPS....driving over to visit friends and passing their parents houses where I grew up playing....running into old friends all over town...shopping/having lunch with my mom and my sister. I could go on and on and on....but I have to say other than family one of the things I miss most is Christ Church and our church family...I have been going to Christ Church since I was a teenager and Scott and I even taught Sunday School together in high school. We were married there and both of the girls were baptized there...walking in the church doors has a similar feeling to walking into your home...filled with love and memories. The girls love it too and that warms my heart....here are a few pics of them enjoying breakfast in the Church Cafe on Sunday morning.....LOVE and Miss you precious friends!

Zingo! Zingo! Zingo!

One of the girls Christmas presents from Scott's parents is the FANTASTIC game called "Zingo" is is like bingo for preschoolers and it has this cool little thing you shoot the pieces out of....Whitney is totally obsessed with and she is really good at it! Her favorite partner to play with is her BFF Mimi! Hilarious! She cracks mom up with the way she pronounces the words....she takes the game very seriously. She say "Ok Mimi, you got a t-rex? I don't have a t-rex....what about a bug? You got a bug?" Seriously the cutest thing ever! LOVE!!!!!

Paradise Park!

Little Construction crew!

Water Table fun!

Face painting station!

Cooking with kids----New Year's Eve Party Hat!

After eating their party hats!

Yesterday we met my dear friend from college Valerie and her little girl Chloe at Paradise Park in Lee's Summit! It was such a fun time! The girls had a blast together and it was so great to catch up with Val! You can see that Paradise Park is a totally awesome place to take your kiddos....and it is really hard to get a good pic of 3 little people at the same time :) Can't wait until we can go again! Love you Val!

We love Papi!

The girls just adore the Papi SO much!!!! We love to give dad a hard time because he doesn't last very long playing....Whit came up from playing with my dad downstairs and she informed us "Papi fell asleep" too funny! But they do have a blast playing with him and since opening all their Christmas gifts they love playing games with him. I snuck a few pics of them playing "Sleeping Queens" together. How blessed we are to have such a great Papi! Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bowling!!!

The girls went bowling for the second time Sunday night!!! Well actually they have spent lots of time at the bowling alley....Scott and I were in a league together with my parents until we moved and when we are back we still go up to the alley and hang out with our parents (Scott's mom and dad took our places on the team) during their bowling league. It cracks me up how everyone at the alley knows our family. They love to give Scott a hard time.... and of course we all love that :) "Scott Graybeal to the playroom" LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
