Hard to believe this was just over a year ago...

B in the hospital on his first day :)

Thanksgiving day...just a few days over a month old.

This is my favorite pic from his 1 year photo shoot :)

Wait this is my favorite....

No...this is my favorite :)

I am just so full of joy and love this morning looking a these photos. We are so blessed by the addition of Bentley to our family. God is good. In some ways I can't believe his first birthday has already come and gone and in other ways I can't belive he has only been with us a year. He is the sweetest little man and we are just so in love with him. I just can't get enough of  his smile, giggle, cuddles, hilarious scrunchy nose face. He is just so amazing. At his 1 year check up on Tuesday he weighed 27 pounds and was 32 inches. He is off the charts ;) The doctor said he will be every bit of 6'4 like his daddy. He is wearing 24 month clothes. He is still crawling but pulls up and cruises on furniture. Just in the last few days he has started letting go and standing for a few seconds and is so close to standing him self up without help. We just love him more than words can ever say and sing praises for him in our lives EVERY day!

I will praise Your name, LORD, because it is good.

So our day started like this...

This would be Whitney not so excited to go to Olathe South cheerleading clinic. No I did not make her she wanted to sign up and then decided this week she didn't want to go because she was nervous and she would be there "all day with no snack and no drink" pretty hilarious...it was 2 hours long and included a snack and drink...no idea where she got that idea...anyway moving on...

At Least one kiddo was excited......

Good thing because this mama had to get out the door at  8 am on a Saturday with all three kids to end up stuck in the neighborhood because the whole thing was blocked for a charity run...great cause....frustrating 20 minutes... moving on ;)

The good news is Whit had a great group that included Mal and her cheerleader was tons of fun...Whit is in the mix attacking her cheerleader with pom poms :)

The girls did their routine on the field at halftime of the football game and had a great time (I sadly couldn't get a close pic of Whit due to her location in the group)

We ended the morning like this....

and like this...

Yeah! They had a great time and it was super cute! I loved that they were cheering for Scott's high school :)

Look at that smile...I caught the real Bich on camera ;)

Mama and Whitney...my little pumpkin girl :)

My three little pumpkins :)

Headless horseman..."spoooooooky" as Whit has been saying lately

No words....just perfection :)

I just feel nothing but pure joy when I look at this picture.

Same goes for this one...joy :)

Oh!!! This one is just perfection and joy all wrapped into a little pumpkin out in the patch ;)

And I had to put up this one too....I just love this girl!!
Last weekend we made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. I am sure ya'll remember how much I missed the Kansas fall festivities while we were living in Texas. I just feel like no one can make a farm a day full of fun the way Kansas can ;) No place like home....hahah :) Anyway, it was another super fun trip and we were blessed to have Uncle Bench along for the adventure. Of course we always miss Scott terribly!!!  We are just so thankful that we are blessed with such amazing family and friends that always step in and help me out. Not even just help me but do it with such joy. I just feel overwhelmed by the love that is in our lives. Thank you Mike Bench for loving our kids so much. That goes for a lot of you as well.
So I had such a hard time deciding which pictures to post. I feel like I have so many that I love!! We had so much fun and the girls LOVED the air pillow. They could have jumped all day. We had  good time out in the patch but Mal got tired of it pretty quickly ;) She even decided to lay down on the hay ride back.  There was a pretty hilarious moment when Mal comes running out to where Whitney and I were pumpkin searching and says "Whitney, Uncle Bench said your pumpkin in the wheel barrow is Ugly" While it was not the best choice of words he was trying to point out for Mal to take it out because it was rotting...Whit replies...without skipping a beat I might add :) " BICH IT IS NOT UGLY IT IS PERFECT!!!" After further inspection and discovering worm holes she decided it was "disgusting" and tossed it from our wheel barrow. :) Bahahah :) It was pretty much hilarious...and just classic that Bench and Whit would have such a disagreement :) hahah!
We had beautiful weather and just the best time.

 Happy fall ya'll!!

Homecoming 1999

How awesome is this picture? I just ran across it and it made me smile. Sometimes (okay most of the time) I totally forget to age us...we are still 17 in my mind! :) Ha!

I have been missing my hubby SO much this week! Of course I always miss him when we aren't together but his birthday is almost here and Fall is my most favorite time of year. I just can not take it much longer that he is gone.

I am so blessed to have a husband that works so hard for our family. Of course I am a little bias...but he is seriously the BEST!!! I have often written about our history and how thankful I am for my man but really it has been on my heart and mind recently and I just have to say that I couldn't possibly love Scotty anymore than I already do. But I have thought that many times before and I am always amazed that I fall a little more in love with him every day.

I miss you Scotty. I can't wait until we are all back under one roof. Until then I look forward to seeing your sweet face on my computer screen (now I am super glad I made you get me the huge 17 inch screen laptop) haha! :)

Love you baby!!
