Dear Sadly neglected blog,

I love you for being here months later when I finally upload the thousands of pictures off multiple phones and my camera. You are a dear friend old bloggity blog!! *warning this post has ALOT of pictures if you would like to play a fun game as you look try to guess which pics came off of Mal's ipod! ha!! :)
So...I really haven't updated since March?! Oops...the girls finished up the school year with a bang! They have so loved being back home and have really adjusted well! Whit is doing better every day with missing her Canada friends and really loves being home! The end of the school year was super busy but the girls had a blast...
Being in the talent show...
Whit and her friend Danielle Sang Taylor Swift Blank Space...they totally rocked it and made it to the Talent Finale Showcase as the opening act! Woo! Hoo!! Cuties!!

Mal and her friend Katie did an adorable and original puppet show act...Mal had grandma make the puppets...it was totally cute and creative! They ended by dancing away to what other than Uptown Funk of course!! More cuties!!

Mal had a busy last week of school that finished up with an awesome project called The Wax Museum...the 4th graders pick a person to research and become including a costume and written a memorized speech! Mal chose Laura Ingalls Wilder and she did an awesome job!!

Next up was a super fun trip to Louisville to spend time with Scotty while he was working there and of course a major perk to that trip was that my family lives there!!! I love all the time I can get with my precious GG, Aunt Kak and Uncle Steve and Catherine!! I love that my kids love them and enjoy time with them as much as I always have!! We spent a lot of time just visiting, going on walks and feeding the ducks and even snuck in a trip to the Churchill Downs Museum! Such a blessed time!

We managed to squeeze in a wild and crazy mother's day celebration for my mom...man we love that lady!!

Next up was another trip to Louisville!! What the what?! This time I went on my own to be with Scotty and go to the Kentucky Derby!! But as a major added bonus my mom came along!! And another bonus we got to go to The Oaks as well and sat with my Aunts and Uncle in a box right at the finish line! It was a fun filled once in a lifetime experience!! So fun!!
