Quick self timer portrait...all ready to go!

Daddy and Mal headed up on the planes!

The girls and I driving the big red car!

The WIGGLES!

Loving the water park!!

We had a great family day yesterday at Fiesta Texas! We spent the morning in Wiggles World and then we headed to the water park...followed up by some more rides :) It was a great day and it was nice to spend the whole day together having some "Texas" fun before we have to move.

I don't think I am at a place right now where I can really put into words what I would like to say about my dear friend Erin. I am having a very hard time emotionally with this move. San Antonio has become home to our family and we are so thankful for the way God has worked in our lives. My friend Erin befriended me almost immediatly after our girls started preschool together 2 years ago. She included me in her play dates and ladies nights out, she got me signed up for her MOPS...almost every friend I have made has been somehow through Erin's introductions. I will be forever grateful for her friendship. I know that God placed her in my life and I could not have been more blessed.

Best Friends!

Precious buddies!

1, 2, 3...jump!

Lounging in the wading pool!

Ya'll have heard me talk a lot about the girls best buddies, Peyton and Lexi...let me tell you I can not put into words how much it breaks my heart to watch these precious girls prepare to say goodbye. I brought them home with me after the graduation on Friday and we spent the afternoon at the pool. They had the best time...as always! At one point Mal and Peyton were hugging and Mal said, "My mom said I am going to have to say goodbye to you because I have to move to Kansas. I am going to miss you so much." Peyton replied, "No I don't want you to move to Kansas you are my best friend, you can stay at my house" They are just so innocent and sweet. I am so thankful for the bonds these little ones have formed at such a young age. What wonderful ways God has been working in our lives these past two years.

Friends forever!

I have already told ya'll how hard it was to say goodbye to Coker and what our Coker family has meant to us these last two years. The little "graduation" on Friday was so sweet. It was the perfect end to my sweet first born daughters preschool years.
Love and Prayers from Texas!

Just because we like to have fun in ALL things...here is a little self portrait of the girls and I this afternoon during a packing session :)

“Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, Rejoice.”

Phi 4:4

I am not sure if I have the words to express how I am feeling today. As some of you know we will be moving back to Kansas City in less than two weeks. I have many mixed emotions about our move...more on that later. But today was a hard day for our little family. Mallory and Whitney both had there last day at Coker Day School. Mallory will have her End of the Year performance on Friday morning but today was her party and most of our goodbyes. It was hard, it was sad, and my heart aches today. I can't believe how fast the past two years have gone and I can't even begin to explain what Coker has meant to us. Not just a wonderful place of love and nurturing for our daughters but a place where dear friendships have been made. I will be forever grateful that we fell upon this amazing place...God lead us to Coker and it has touched our hearts forever.

Through each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.

Psalm 42:8

How Sweet is this?

Just had to share this because I just think it is so precious! Whit fell sound asleep in the car and we carried her in and laid her on the couch and she slept like this for over and hour! We had to wake her up to eat dinner! She just looks sooo tired and sooo sweet!

You make the path of life known to me. Complete joy is in your presence. Pleasures are by your side forever. Psalm 16:11

Auntie Lauren

We had a great visit with Scott's sister Lauren last week! She came to visit us after her college graduation! Yeah! We are so proud of her and how hard she has worked the last four years at both school and volleyball! All her hard work has paid off and she just signed the lease on her new apartment in Chicago where she moves to start her new job in just 2 short weeks! We had a blast hanging out, going to the zoo, and shopping for a "professional" non college wardrobe at the fabulous outlets! We miss her already and can't wait to see her again soon!
Love you Loey!!!

ZOO!

The bear was awake for the first time!!!! :)

They LOVED the bear!

They also loved the GIRAFFE :)

The girls and I took Auntie Lauren to the zoo when she was here last week! We had a sunny afternoon and the animals were all awake and walking around! We had a great time! :) We always enjoy a good day at the zoo :)

Boy Clothes!

Our little "partner" got a package in the mail from his Auntie Amy!

How sweet is this little brother bib?!

Leo and baby will have matching "Daddy's #1 Draft Pic" outfits!

Okay, seriously....check out the baby polo...or as I call them "Mini Scott" shirts :) Love it!

and a baby name book! This book helped lead us to our little "partners" name

BENTLEY SCOTT

We are praying every day that he is growing healthy and strong and are so excited to meet him in October!

It's A...

We are so excited and overjoyed with thanks and praise for our soon to be baby boy!

"Before I formed you in your mother's womb I chose you.
Before you were born I set you apart.
Jeremiah 1:5

Mother's Day!

Mother's Day isn't about the beautiful flowers

or the delicious cake

it isn't about the amazing chocolate covered strawberries

or my fabulous new camera from my fabulous hubby

It's all about my love for these ladies :)

I was totally spoiled by my precious husband and daughters yesterday. I am so thankful for my family. The only missing piece was my own mama who I love more than words could every say.
I pray that each of you had a wonderful mother's day and that you felt the love and comfort of your family and our Heavenly Father the way I did.

Love you all so much,
Sarah

As a mother comforts her child,
so will I comfort you;

Pool Days

We got our new pool passes and the girls have been enjoying spending all their afternoons at the pool :) We have been LOVING this beautiful San Antonio sunny weather!!! The best part is our pool is right across the street and all the older kids are in school for another month...so that means...there are only 3 people at the pool...Mal, Whit and I!!! Yippee :) Gotta love that :)

Best Friends

Nothing is sweeter to me than to walk in the room and see the girls playing nicely together. Don't get me wrong they are always the best of friends but they tend to have the typical love-hate relationship that all sisters close in age share. Even when they are on the "hate" side of things they still want to be together. It always reminds me of my sister Amy and I. Today I was working in the kitchen and I asked the girls to play in their playroom and when I came in to check on them they had set up a little "school" and Mal was showing Whit Wiggles flashcards and Whit was answering her questions.....SO STINKIN CUTE!

"The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith"
Galatians 5:22

Just because...

No story really behind these pics...just heading out the door to Mother's Day Out and Preschool and they were just cracking me up and so stinkin' cute I wanted to take a picture...I have so much fun being home with the girls and I am just so thankful for how hard Scott works for our family to allow me this amazing time. My cup runeth over....TEXAS LOVE!
Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of Lord Jesus.
Colossians 3:17

Splish Splash!

So... we tried to head over to our neighborhood pool the other day and we didn't realize that there are new pool cards this year. The office was closed for the weekend so we had to imrovise on our afternoon at the pool :) Lounge chair next to the girls backyard pool...oh yeah! Totally awesome...I must say the girls were so sweet about not being able to get into the pool and had just as much fun in the wading pool. Spending time in the backyard laughing and splashing with our girls was the best way to spend the afternoon. How blessed we are :)
Then be glad and rejoice forever in what I am creating
