Look who is 6!!! This is Mal in her school uniform and birthday crown after returning home from school on her birthday. She was pretty excited that the whole "cafe" sang to her and then later in the day her class sang to her after she passed out her treats.

We had a really nice time going out to dinner as a family...and we were blessed with 2 additional family members. My cousins Caiti and Nicole...they are here visiting for their spring break from Minnesota. Nicole is 21 and Caiti is a senior this year. I remember when they were born and spending lots of time with them when they were little. My friend Heather and I stayed with them for our spring break during sophomore year of high school. Is is SO FUN spenign time with them as adults :)

So back to my birthday princess...this mama can hardly believe her first born is 6 and I am so in love with her I can just hardly stand it!!! She is such a sweetie and a total mini me :) ha! I have so much fun with her and just truly enjoy my time spent together with her...I am so blessed to call her my daughter and even more blessed to get to spend so much time with her. She is so grown up and reading books and so good at school. I could just brag on her forever :) I love the stories she tells me and cuddling up reading books and playing games together. She is so imaginitive and such a good big sister. Ahhh this mamas is in love. Happy birthday precious girl. Mama loves you to the moon. xoxoxox

Scott's Family

We were so glad Scott's family was all able to join us in Disney! :) It's nice to have time together with extended family. Here are a few pics ;) Thanks guys for being so easy going joining us on all the kiddie adventures! :) We hope you had fun!



We returned Monday from a wonderful trip to DISNEY WORLD!! We had a fantastic time! My favorite part was watching the look on our girls faces....priceless perfection. My second favorite part was hubby returning from South Africa!! He got off the plane and headed to meet us at Epcot...

Oh how I missed this cutie! So good to have him home...and get some vaca time together! Woot woot!

Whitney was not a fan of the characters...NOT AT ALL....she spent all the time Mally was meeting the characters like this....

Yes...riding in the stroller...watching from across the room...waving to the characters. There was one and only one exception to this....

who other than...

MARY POPPINS...of course...this little princess is OBSESSED with Mary Poppins...Scott had to carry her and convince her it would be okay...she actually gave a little smile...and even today she keeps saying "remember my favorite part of Disney when I hugged Mary Poppins" LOVE IT...hug? hmmm...not sure about that one...Considering how close she is to Mary in this pic I guess in Whitney's anti-character world this is a hug ;) oh I love that little girl!

Our other little princess was the exact opposite with the characters...she had her autograph book and was relentless at waiting in line to get signatures...here are just a few pics of her with characters...posting them all would take days...;)

My FAVORITE was Mal meeting Ariel...she LOVES Ariel and waited SO PATIENTLY in line to see her for over and hour and a half...melts my heart. She was so sweet coloring and chatting. Ohhhhh just thinking about it makes me smile...look how happy this little girl is...

As you can see Mal is dressed like Ariel...for their birthdays we took the girls to Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique where they got an entire princess makeover by a "Fairy God Mother in training" SO CUTE! I think I had as much fun as they did!!! Just look at these little cutie patooties...

I can't even put into words how much fun I had spending time with our family!!! Riding on Dumbo with Whitney was just the greatest....

Thank you Jesus for Scott and our children. We are so abundantly blessed. There are no words...speechless...in awe...humbled by your love and grace.

Yesterday we went to a St. Patricks Day/Pool Party with those fab MOPS women I mentioned before. If was so much fun and just a great time of laughter conversation and relaxation. I love to just sit back and enjoy the small things. Thank you Jesus!

Last week we were running ahead of schedule for church and it was a beautiful morning so I decided to stop and let the kids play at a park before service. I attempted to snap a few pics of the three of them together...it was a little difficult with the bright sun and the girls squnting but I still love these pics...so blessed!!!!!
