Grandma Ellen Graybeal

The girls with Great Grandmother Ellen in March of 2008

While we were visiting in Kansas Scott received the sad news that his Grandmother Graybeal passed away. Ellen lived in a nursing home in Minnesota so Scott drove in from San Antonio and he and I traveled to the services while the girls stayed behind with my family in KC. We are very sad about Ellen's passing but we are so thankful she did not suffer and is now in heaven with our lord Jesus.

Uncle Scott

Scott got to meet his nephew for the very first time!!! It was SOOOO sweet! He is so excited to be an uncle...we are both waiting for the day we will be called Aunt Sarah and Uncle Scott...it is our first time being an aunt and uncle and we are totally pumped about it :) Leo and Scott got to hang out a bond for a bit...I think they will be best buds and have lots of fun days together in their future! :)

Wedding!

How cute is this...the girls adore their Mimi!

Our dear friend Sara got married while we were home visiting and we had the pleasure of witnessing their vows. I love weddings...this one was especially sweet to me because it was at Christ Church where Scott and I got married. I loved seeing it all ready for a wedding and thinking back on our wedding day. How blessed we are to be even more in love now than then. I didn't think that was possible. We had a great time at the wedding...the only sad part was Scott not being with us. The whole family was together but with Scotty in TX it just wasn't complete. Congrats Sara and Adam we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness. There is nothing better in this life than being married to your best friend.

The girls love Leo!!

The girl friends with Auntie Amy and Leo...LOVE THIS!!!

Okay...framer for sure! Seriously cute!

Whit and little man....again framer!!!!! Look at that grin!!

Can anyone guess how much Whit loves her Uncle Adam ? ;)

And one more of Leo...just because his face cracks me up in this one!

The girls had the BEST time playing with Leo...they also think that his mom and dad are pretty much the coolest people EVER...the girls think Uncle Adam hung the moon. Really, he is just totally the most awesome uncle!!! Thanks for all you help Adam....LOVE YOU!

...Trust yourself to the GOD who made you, for He will never fail you.

1 Peter 4:19

Visitors!

GG and Auntie Amy with Leo

Grandpa Moore, Auntie Amy, Leo, and Grandma Moore

Aunt Tara and the girls

Uncle Steve, Leo, Aunt Amy, Aunt Steph and Mal

The main reason for our visit home to Kansas City was to see all of the relatives that were coming in to visit and meet Leo! It was such a blessing we were able to be there and spend time with so much of our extended family. My dads parents and his sister Tara all came for a few days and then My moms mom (GG) came in from Louisville with my mom's brother, Steve (that is where Leo got his middle name! :-) ) We had such a great time visiting with everyone and the girls had a total blast playing with everyone! :-) We loved our time with all of you and send love and prayers from Texas!!! xoxoxo

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible"

Matthew 19:26

In love with a little man named Leo!!!!

The girls and I just returned from a nice long visit at home in Kansas City....the girls met their cousin Leo Stephen Kincaid for the very first time. I am sure none of you will be surprised to hear that they are in love with him just like I am!!! I mean really...how could you not be in love with this guy?...cutest little man EVER!!!! We love you little Leo! xoxoxoxo from Texas until we meet again!

But You, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the One who lifts up my head.

Happy Easter! Day 3

Early morning Easter Baskets :)

Ready for the egg hunt!

Checking out all her loot :)

Eating some of her goodies :)

Sweet girls!

Our precious girlies :)

Mommy and her sweeties :)

Cutie tootie :)

Best friends! :)

We had a wonderful Easter day! The girls loved their baskets the bunny left and had a great time on their egg hunt! After all the morning festivities we got the girls cleaned up an into their Easter outfits and we headed out to find some blue bonnet patches to take pictures. This is the Texas state flower and when they bloom it is tradition to take pictures with them...news to me but I must say they are beautiful and we had a good time! :)

Thank you Erin and Geoff for a great weekend! We had a great time and love you and your family so much! What a blessing you are to us. As our time in Texas comes to a close I think of Dorothy heading back to Kansas...she tells the scarecrow she will miss him most of all. That is so true of you and your precious family. LOVE YOU!

Easter Weekend Day 2

Erin and the girls bringing up the slide! :)

Whee!! So fun!

Bounce! (Whit didn't want to do the slide)

Boat Ride! :)

On Saturday we were outside enjoying the Texas sunshine most of the day :) Scott and Geoff golfed and Erin and I played with the girls and decorated Easter eggs. Later in the day we headed out for a beautiful boat ride! LOVE IT!

Easter Weeknd Day 1

Trying to keep the girls warm and dry waiting to go :)

The girls LOVED the zebras!

I love Erin's face in this! Priceless :)

Check this out!!! This is for all my fellow Kansans!!

A little fishing :)

We spent Easter weekend with our dear friends the Bley's at their family lakehouse on Lake LBJ. We had the best time! On Friday we went to this Exotic Zoo where you take a tram ride through to see all the animals and you feed them while you go. There were some crazy animals coming right up and putting their heads in! Mal even fed a zebra...totally fun :) Then we headed to this amazing bbq place for lunch and I mean AMAZING and you all know that Kansas City is the bbq capital ;) We fed the kids dairy queen on the drive back and then spent the afternoon relaxing! Yes I said relaxing!!! :)

Coker Easter Party

Another succesful party in Mrs. Hoyler's class at Coker Day School! Mal had a great time along with the rest of her classmates and as always I enjoyed the lovely mommies that worked so hard to put on a great party! Coker has been such a blessing in our lives! TEXAS LOVE!
