I am so thankful to my mother n' law for watching B buddy on Friday's so Whitney and I can go up and hang out with Mallory at school :) We bring her lunch and hand out with her her class at the lunch table. I love spending time with Mal at school and getting to know all her classmates. They are some awesome kids, seriously, awesome!! After lunch Whit and I stay for an hour and "work" Miss Buie always has jobs for us to do :) We love it and so does Miss Mally Pally! This past Friday was "Twin Day" and of course Mal and her BFF Charlie were twins...totally adorable!! Right? :) Love it! I feel so blessed for these special Fridays! I still remember with a very happy heart all the time my mom spent at school when I was growing up. It is such a wonderful gift!

So we finally did some more work on Bentley's nursery! I am now bringing you a very delayed promised follow up from the first pictures a few months ago. I mentioned to my handy hubby that I wanted to do some "floating book shelves" in the kiddos rooms and showed him a few "pinterest inspired" ideas I had. He even came along with me on a shopping outing to help me find something that would work. We discovered wooden cd crates at Micheals! They were less than 5 dollars a piece and Scott sprayed them red and attached them to the wall for me. I love them! More importantly Bentley loves them and it brings some orginazitaion to his room. Throw in some 40% off baskets also from Micheals and a few half off hobby lobby pictures (not featured in this post) and we have a cute little boy sports room for our B buddy! :) LOVE IT!! Thanks sweet hubby you are the best!

(We also gave the girls room a little mini makeover...pics to come soon!)

John 1:1 In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.

Last week the girls BFF came and spent the day with us!! Jenna Bean :) Jenna was the flower girl at our wedding and I started watching her big brother and sister years before she was ever born...there family is our family. The girls have no idea that she is so much older :) Jenna is awesome with them and we love having her spend time with us! These pictures make me smile...I went down to see what they were up to in the basement playroom and I found them enjoying a tea party :) LOVE IT!!!
I so look forward to many more wonderful memories of these girls together.

These photos make my heart smile, truly. Uncle Binch joined us on new years eve (daytime) at Crown Center and then we headed out to lunch at Power and Light. The girls love their Uncle B so much. They had a great time playing and were still talking about dancing on the "stage" for days afterward. Thank you Mike for being our daughters Godfather and for loving all 3 of our kiddos. You are loved. You are family. Mike lost his Godmother the day after these pics were taken. Pray for our dear friend for his heart to be happy with warm memories of all the years they shared. We are blessed that he is creating those same kind of memories for our daughter.

These pictures make me smile...what a fun family day this was. In the past we have gone to crown center to see Santa and play in the crayola land...this year B and Whit both were anti-santa and Mal saw him 4 times. So we waited until after Christmas...we went on New Years Eve...the weather was gorgeous it wasn't crowded, the crayola land was still openend and all the decorations were still up. We had the best time. I think I will wait until after Christmas every year! :) I love these smiles....awww. Pure Heaven.

Philippians 2:2  complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

Before Mallory started back to school we made one last day time outing with friends...Chuck E Cheese...probably one of my least favorite kids play places, honestly. But we had a great time...I guess good friends make any place fun :) The girls ran around playing games and crawling through the tunnels while I was able to catch up with friends. In case I haven't mentioned it lately...I am so grateful to be home with my kiddos. I truly feel so blessed and I am so thankful for my husband working so hard to make it possible. Love you babe! These precious years mean so much to me. I am just humbled that God has trusted our 3 children to us and he allows me to be home raising them. Thankful, amazed by his grace.

We had a wonderful 65 degree January day and took full advantage of it at the zoo :) We met our dear friends the Adams at the Kansas City Zoo and Whit had a great time with her little friend Chloe! The girls has the best time! I think Whit's favorite was riding the carasouel and watching the sea lions. Thanks Val we had a great time! Can't wait to spend more time out in the gorgeous sunshine this spring :)

Psalm 63:3 Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.

The girls got several new games for Christmas and ever since pretty much every night has been family game night. A favorite at the moment is "Don't Wake Daddy" Its really pretty fun. Whatever number you land on you push the alarm clock that many times and eventully someone "wakes daddy" and he pops up. Whitney loved it at first but now she is always hiding afraid of when its going to pop...hahah silly girl :)

Psalm 31:16 Make your face shine on your servant;  save me in your steadfast love!

We hit the bowling alley for an afternoon of family fun! The girls has a blast as usually. This was B's first time there since he has been walking. He was all over the place and a little bummed all the balls were to heavy for him to lift!! He kept running around saying "ball ball ball" ahha :) After we finished bowling we hit the arcade. The girls love it :) Okay mommy and daddy play a few games too ;)
I love spending the afternoon with my precious husband and children. Truly nothing I love more.

In Christs Love,
Sarah

Aunt Steph....aka...Wildcat fan...

Going through my Christmas day pictures I just can't help but laugh! I have such an odd assortment. Usually I am totally on top of the pictures but this year I guess I was just to busy enjoying family. We had a wonderful time. An opportunity to enjoy just our family of 5 as well as time with both sets of our precious family. We are truly so blessed. Our kids were spoiled and we just can't thank y'all enough for loving on them. We were also blessed with a big family dinner with both sides of our family at my parents house. Thank you Mimi for hosting. We had such an amazing time and just feel so blessed. Truly I can not think of another word, blessed.

In Christs Love,
Sarah

Christmas Eve Service

Christmas Eve Jammies!!!

B buddy in his Christmas jammies...ready for Santa!

Santa came...filled the stockings...ate the cookies...and left a note!

Whitney sprinkling her reindeer food in the front year.
Is it really already January 12th?! We have been so busy enjoying the new year I haven't been keeping our blog updated. But I have been taking lots of pictures and making notes of my favorite memories. These pictures are from Christmas Eve. Another memorable year that will always stay near and dear to my heart. We are so blessed. One of my most cherished memories is sitting in Christmas eve service with my sister, my parents, and Scott's mom. I loved all being together and I truly loved watching Mal be apart of the Childrens program. It was hilarious because she told me the morning of the show "It's going to be an awesome flash mob and when it over you are going to be like...did that just happen?" hahahah! Oh my goodness I love her! :) Whitney did all the rehearsing but chose to sit with us and watch...and that is okay. I want each of the kiddos to be who they are and embrace their personalities with open arms and nothing but love.

I hope y'all enjoyed your Christmas Eve as much as we did.

In Christs Love,
Sarah
