Hey y'all!! Or should I say Happy Winter Wonderland Y'all!! :) That is what we have been living in! I am not going to lie...I am a beach girl...really I would never in a million years chose a ski vacation...like ever...I much prefer my feet in the sand ;) However this winter life is growing on me. It is presenting so many fun adventures for us! :) We have been enjoying ice skating nearly daily at our neighborhood lake or our community center. The girls are in ice skating lessons on Saturday mornings and the sledding hill makes for a great family activity! :) As much as I miss my Kansas home...because of course...."There is no place like home....no place like home" (I can't count home many Wizard of Oz jokes I have hear here....) I know all to well what it is like to be at home in Kansas while hubby travels...I miss him desperately and the kids can just hardly stand it. So, I am loving every minute of our family time...winter wonderland and all! Hey it's even been warmer here than at home on some days! Nice! :) And for all those wondering...B's hockey obsession has not tapered at all in fact it just continues to intensify....y'all even his ride on fire truck is now a "zamboni" I fear "hockey mom" is totally in my future :/ Pray for me! ;)

I just have to tell y'all how hilarious this was...this is a big hill...big...Scott gave him a little starting push and off he flew...it was too funny...you could just hear his little voice saying..."help...somebody help" then when he got down he said "Me not like rocket run" which is the name of the big hill in Max and Ruby....I SO regret not taking video!!! :)

Here is B telling me "Me not like rocket run"

My sweetie pies could not get enough of the sledding hill!! It's so awesome they have this at our neighborhood club house!!

Much happier being pulled around by daddy! :)

And even happier on "bunny hill"

These 2 pics of my Whitney Grace make my heart SO happy!! The pure joy and natural delight is just too much!! I love this little girl SO much!!

Here is little man warming up in the car with me :) He stayed out for a bit watching the sledding then we had to head for the heater ;)

I just have to share a little pic into my day...its all about my monkey boys...there are lots of screams of laughter and hot chocolate mustaches along with poor Brody be smothered in big brother Bentley love :) I am SO blessed! I remember these kind of days with my girls and I feel so blessed I am still able to be home to have the same time with my boys!! Truly a blessed mama!!!

"But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

I can not even believe sweet Brody is already 2 months old!! What is even stranger is that 4 of his 8 weeks were spent in hospitals!! I am so so so thankful that the Lord chose to heal him. I still watch him so closely but I am trusting in the Lord. I know his plans are bigger and better than mine. At his 2 month well check they assured me he looks great!!
He is 14 pounds and 6 ozs and 23 1/4 inches long...which is funny because at 6  weeks they had him at 24 1/2 inches long....so who know. But according to these new measurements he is a little short fat man ;) hahaha! That is okay with me I think he is pretty perfect! But he is too long for anything smaller than 6 month in size so I am not too worried about his length ;)

He is smiling all the time know and making all those sweet cooing noises. He definitely loves me as much as I love him because I can no longer set him down ;) Today I couldn't even get through a load of laundry or a 30 minute work out video...that is okay by me though...it goes so fast. I will just catch up on everything else in a few years ;)

Brody,
Mommy loves you more than you will ever know. You complete me.
XOXOXO
Mommy

What a blessed Christmas we had at our Canada Home!!

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

The waiting on the stairs until mom is ready with the camera pic ;) My mom has years and years of these with my sisters and I!!

Santa used the front door and Chippy went home to the North Pole with him...of course we have a fireplace (It is Canada after all) however Mal made note that it is "fake" and doesn't have a Chimney...very true...gas with a light switch to turn it on and off ;)

B sure LOVES his Build A Bear Santa that he built for his baby brother ;) I see a future of incidents like this...hahahah!

Santa brought baby Brody a wipes warmer...he really hates cold wipes and cries every time we use one...Mal and Whit are pretty confident he told Chippy about this "grievance" and Chippy made sure Santa delivered!! He looks pretty please to me!!

I wish I had video of this one...B is shouting..."THIS IS JUST WANT ME WANTED!!!"

Pretty pleased with his baseball mitt...I know y'all are shocked he loves something other than hockey...he is well rounded in the sports department ;) Out of his loves so far, hockey, football and baseball this mama would vote for baseball!!!! ;) I know Bench is rolling his eyes right about now....he knows I am NEVER signing a football or hockey permission slip! bahahahahah :)

Whitney girls was SOOOOO happy Santa came through with her Easy Bake Oven...I guess it is just a right of passage for little girls...we already got rid of Mal's....and I remember having one when I was little....how many times have they recalled them due to fires?? I better sign up for the recall notifications! ;)

These pictures of Mal speak for themselves...the one and ONLY thing she really really really wanted this year was an Ipod touch...she even swore if it was the only thing she got she would be SO happy! So it begins...the begging for electronic gifts!! She is lucky her daddy loves this type of thing ;) And it helps that she told Chippy every single day so Santa came through for her!!

My Christmas morning babies on Brody's very first Christmas! And please note that Bentley already has chocolate on his face :/ I know some of y'all are like where are the matching jammies!? Well this year for their Christmas Eve jammie present I got them Frozen jammies!! They are obsessed...I have to keep washing them so they can wear them again and again...Brody had several Christmas jammies and managed to go through all of them before morning ;)

Whit had the best reactions this year! She was so super excited about everything! She is really into Monster High right now and was thrilled with all her Monster High goods ;)

Bentley was SO excited about EVERY single thing he opened!! SO CUTE!!!

Mally Pally enjoying her gift...skyping her Char-Char of course!!! :)

I promised myself I wouldn't dwell on the fact that this Christmas wasn't spent with Kansas...so I won't. I will just say that I am so blessed by my husband and children and I thank God for them every minute of every single day. I feel so blessed to be a mother to these 4 precious babies. I feel so thankful that the Lord healed our precious Brody. I am thankful for their laughter. I am thankful for their hugs. I am thankful for the fights. I am thankful for the way they never cease to make me laugh out loud.  I feel so blessed to be married to my best friend and love of my life. I am so thankful for how hard he works for our family. I love his smile. I love his laughter. I love the way he plays the new video games with the kids...especially the Kinect...A-mazing. I am blessed. I am thankful. My heart is full.

Of course no matter what time of year it is...when I am away from my home and my family I always keep a little piece nearby ;)  I missed y'all terribly!! xoxoxo
