John 11:25-26 “ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Happy Easter Y'all!!
Oh how I LOVE Easter! As a Christian Easter is VERY important to me. It is a celebration in our home and hearts that Our God is not dead...he is alive...HE is RISEN!! I love celebrating Easter with my family! There is a lot of fun to be had...just as at Christmas time. But I can not go without saying...even with all the fun we make SURE that the true reason for the season is taught, remembered, honored and celebrated. Jesus is the Lord of our lives and hearts and we are so thankful for his Resurrection!! He IS Risen, Indeed!!

Being away from family at the holidays is of course not easy. Not easy at all...I shed a tear or two this morning as we worshiped just aching to be sitting at Christ Church with my family. I missed them so very much.
To help ease the ache of the absent we celebrated with those that are dear to us here. I am SO thankful that we have made dear friends that we are able to gather and celebrate with us! We truly have a wonderful group of friends here and I am SO thankful for their love!!
(Warning...this post has LOTS of pics!!) We hosted a little Easter egg hunt yesterday...it was SO much fun and the pictures speak for themselves...

The egg hunt was such a great time! I loved watching the kids make trades after the hunt...seriously hilarious! One of our little friends called herself the "trading wizard" and Bentley may or may not have taken too many eggs and proceeded to be "naughty" with some of our friends :/ oh my gray hair ;) I LOVE that I have friends that laugh with me and not at me! ;) Hahahah! Love y'all so much! Thank you for joining us!! xoxox

Yesterday evening after the gathering at our house we were blessed enough to break bread with some friends from my Bible study group! Our kids got along SO wonderfully and it was such a nice time for our husbands to meet one another and to just relax and enjoy! I loved being surrounded but new friends and laughter while enjoying a wonderful Easter meal! YES, there was broccoli casserole...y'all know who you are that care about that detail ;)

Oh Whitney Grace...I love you SO much...and NO you can not have just "a few more eggs more than the other kids" ;)

This morning before service we made it out to a family breakfast at our favorite place here :) I love this pic of my girls! :) How are they so grown up??

So a few weeks ago I went to a little "Easter mini" shoot a local photographer was having....yeah what she got was comical...she tried her best but y'all I am still chuckling...look at Brody!! And I kid you not this is the ONLY pic of all 4 of our kids she got....

Ok, the two of the boys is really sweet...and of course I still like the others because it captured our kids right in the moment...but after a bit of a photo fail I decided to head out in the gorgeous weather today and attempt again to get them all in one shot...I have new respect for the photographer....below are a few of the 100 shots I snapped ;)

These pictures make me SO happy! They just capture EXACTLY what our lives are right not...crazy, chaotic, adorable, busy, laugh out loud funny, so much LOVE! Truly...I couldn't love these crazy pictures of our little blessings any more!!!

Finally we wrapped up the day with some Easter egg dying.....so much messy fun!!!!

Mal and a picture especially for her BFF Charlie! You are missed and Loved little sweetie!!

We are missing y'all SO much and praying for each one of you daily! I hope y'all had a VERY blessed Easter!!!
