Whit Grace choosing her "perfect pumpkin"

The girls had so much fun picking wildflowers....they were breathtaking!!!

Daddy took this picture of us on the hayride!

The girls checking out the goats...which Whit kept calling "little lambs"

The girls had a great time building their scarecrow...Scott is putting him together!

Yeah for pumpkin Painting!

Hot and tired...time for a homemade strawberry popsicles!

We had SO much fun yesterday making a day trip up to Marble Falls to go to Sweet Berry farm! We had a great time pumpkin painting, stuffing a scarecrow, picking wild flowers, going on a hayride, picking pumpkins (well the only way you can in Texas...from a big selection shipped in from places like Kansas!) checking out the animals and of course eating delicious homemade farm treats!!! It was such a fun day! Love to all!

Soccer Game #2

Another successful week at soccer!!! Well...that is if you think successful is that all the kids actually went on the field and they had fun doing it (well most of the kids a few would rather not but...they are only 3 and 4) I love watching Mal! She has so much fun and is already a lot better than I ever was at soccer...ha! I never played soccer :-) Love to all!

Eat the Alpabet!

In Mallory's preschool class they focus on one letter each week and do everything around that letter. One of the activities is "Eat the Alphabet" the parents take turns signing up to bring a snack of some kind that starts with the letter of the week...we had E this week and I am telling you what...it is really hard to think of an E food that 4 year olds will eat or that is easy to prepare in advance. We thought of things like...Eggs, Eggplant, Egg Drop Soup, Eggos and then my mother n' law thought of the Elmo cookies I made for Mal's 2nd birthday party... VOILA... Eat the Alphabet snack for letter E...Mal can't wait to take these to school tomorrow! LOVE!

Play Date at Funtastic Playland

Today MOPS had a play date at our favorite place...Funtastic Playland! The girls had a great time! They LOVE basketball...we had so much fun and will visit there again soon! :) Love to all!

1st Soccer Game!

Mal and Maddie warming up...

Practicing that kick...

Whit playing on a spare goal...

Mal and Peyton on the field watching the action...

YES Mal has the ball!!!:-) Totally awesome!

Oh my goodness...3 and 4 year olds playing soccer is seriously CUTE! It was so much fun to watch them play! It took Mal a little while to warm up to what was going on but when she got the ball she was SO excited! She was hilarious and almost had a goal....into the wrong net....but she is SUPER excited b/c she thinks she scored! :-) LOVE IT! I have to say playing for the YMCA is totally awesome they do a player pledge and a parent pledge before the game starts and it is so cute. I love it that we pledge to Honor God and put our player first and the game second....I think they need to do a pledge before ALL games everywhere! :) Texas love!

Thanks Grandma Terri!

Scott's mom made the girls the most adorable dresses! They arrived yesterday and of course I had them wear them today! :-) I snapped a picture of each of them at 7:30 this morning....it doesn't matter if you have to wake the girls up their little personalities still shine...Whit was dancing around laughing refusing to smile for the camera and Mal was posing yelling "thank you grandma" they crack me up!!!! :-) Love to all!

Soccer Practice

Mallory is playing soccer for the first time!!! She had her first practice on Tuesday night! It was SO cute! She is totally into it and I know I am a tad bit partial to my own children (just a little bit) but she is really good! :-) I can't wait to see her play in her first game on Saturday! Whit was pretty sad she didn't get to play but she entertained herself picking "flowers' aka weeds :-) Only the best moms have a vase full of weeds their children pick for them! :)Love from Texas!

Day at the Zoo

Planting in the "My big backyard" area

Watching the turtles...

Happy girl on the train....

My poor sad Whit did not love the train....

The girls and I went to one of our VERY favorite places....The San Antonio Zoo....the season pass we bought last year was seriously the best decision....We have been so many times and every visit we discover something we haven't seen before. They have the COOLEST kids area...we found a "river bank" that you bring your swimsuits and let the kids play in...We are going back this week with the girls suits to check it out! SO COOL! This particular day the girls were obsessed with the turtles....and Mal LOVE the train, as always, and Whit still hates it poor girly... Have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE hanging out with the girlies!!!!! SO AMAZING....Thank you Scotty for working SO hard for our family and making these days possible! LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

NEPHEW!!!!!

I am SO EXCITED to share that my precious sister and brother n' law are expecting a baby BOY!!! They found out today that the baby is a boy and I think I am still shocked with excitement! I am sure my dad will be the most shocked and excited....he has only been welcoming girls for almost 29 years! I can't wait to meet the little guy in February and I am SO happy for Amy and Adam!!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my husband!

I have no words!!!! SO CUTE!

I love how serious they are about their coloring!!! :)

Well I guess you all probably already knew that I love my husband! :) But, I just have to say every time I think I couldn't possibly love him anymore than I already do I see him playing with the girls! It totally melts my heart EVERY time!!!! Here are a couple shots I snapped the other day (okay so Scotty told me not to put up the pictures of him in the dress up on facebook...but this isn't facebook...) :-) ha! Love from Texas!!

Choo Choo!

Okay....So, Scott's mom saved EVERYTHING from his childhood! She is amazing I don't know how she kept up with everything so well. She actually has things separated out for each child. The girls spent time over the summer playing with an entire rubbermaid of McDonald's toys. WOW! Seriously, Amazing! The kids totally love the treasures they find at Grandma Terri's! Their favorite find so far is Scott's wooden train set! We brought it back with us after our visit in July and Whit totally LOVES it! We got her a little purple train car and she loves to build the track and play with "lady" TOO CUTE! Love from Texas!

Lemonade Stand

Praise Jesus for the rainy day in San Antonio today!!! :) We REALLY needed the rain! The girls enjoyed having a whole day inside just PLAYING!!! It was very fun and relaxing. My favorite game of the day was when the girls decided to build their on lemonade stand on the box they decorated using Sun Runner cups for their lemonade...it was only a "nickel a glass" so funny!

First Days

Mallory's First Day of Mother's Day Out 9/2007

Mallory's First Day of 3 year old Preschool 9/2008

Just because I am feeling a little sad about how fast my girls are growing I wanted to put Mallory's first day of school pictures up from the last 2 years. I can't believe that Whitney is already the same age as Mallory was in the first picture!!!! Love you all!

My sweet baby goes to MDO!!!

I can not believe Whitney is big enough to go to Mother's Day Out! She even insisted on carrying her own back pack and lunch box! She did get a little upset when it was time for me to leave but I hid outside the door (of course) and it lasted less than 10 seconds! She had a great day and was the teachers favorite (of course) and don't try to tell me they tell every mom that ;) She is such a precious angel and I missed her SO MUCH today! I was dying to go pick her up! This is why I only enrolled her one day a week :)
