We had a great time going out down town the night after Christmas! It was so much fun! Amy, Adam and Steph were all there as well as Scott's sister Stacey and our good friends Mike and Matt. It was so fun to have a night to just hand out together~ my parents watched the kids so they were busy having their own party :) It was the first time we got to go out in the new P&L district down town... I think our favorite was Makers Mark! Scott especially enjoyed his bourbon flight! We all enjoyed Steph's dancing skills...espcially to pitbull:) Love you guys!

Carousel Museum

My dad took us to the Carousel Museum in Leavenworth and we had a great time. It was so interesting and we learned a lot. We rode on a carousel from 1913 that went SO fast and the horses went really high. They were all hand carved and hand painted. Again...check it out if you are a fellow Kansan!

Christmas Night

We had a great time gathering both families together for Christmas dinner followed by a trip to the "tacky house" that we have been visiting since we were kids. If you are a fellow Kansas City person and have never checked it out...you should! :) Hilarous and great fun for all!

Christmas Morning

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We had a great time! Santa came to Mimi and Papi's and his favorite gifts were baby Chou Chou and the Cozy Coupe Car...we had an amazing time and were just so excited to be with our families!

Stocking Exchange

We had SO much fun with our first annual stocking exchange! We drew names back in November and secretly hung our stockings and then opened them and guessed who had our name on Chrismtas Eve! We had a great time and are already coming up with ideas for next year!

SNOW!

The girls were SO excited to wake up to some snow on Christmas Eve morning! They were ready to get dressed and go out and play from the moment they saw it! We had a hard time getting Mal back inside! It was so beautiful!

Mallory's Christmas Dance Class

The parents were all invited to come to watch Mallory's dance class the week before Christmas...it was SO cute. Mallory loves dancing and when she starts tapping she just gets SO into it....I can't wait for her recital in the spring they just announced that they are doing "The Wizard of OZ" her age group has the part of the munchkins! :) That is SO perfect! I LOVE it!

Coker Day School Christmas Party

Today was Mallory's Christmas party at school! It was so cute and we had a great time! I was the room mom for this party and I had a great time planning and running it! We made a really cute "Let it Snow" door sign and the kids got to see Santa Claus. I love her school and I enjoy all the other moms as well. We are really making some great connections during our time here in San Antonio. In the morning Mal has her little dance class Christmas recital! It is so fun to see all the kids and it really puts me in the Christmas spirit. I am just so thankful for all that we have and that Jesus was born on Christmas day. What a glorious time of year this is.... I am thankful for today and anxious to head home tomorrow!

Gingerbread Houses

We had a great time making gingerbread houses and gingerbread trains today with our friends! The girls had a blast and the moms worked just as hard trying to get them to stay upright! :) We enjoyed playtime and "mom" time with lunch at McDonalds after the projects were complete! Mal loves playing with her best buddy Peyton from school and it is great because her sister Lexi is close to Whitneys's age. Thanks Erin! We had a great time!

Craft Time

I got the girls these cute little "smore" snowman ornaments to make and they were so excited to start crafting (one of their favorite things to do) Scott was home so Mal thought it would be fun to have daddy help make the craft. Too cute! I enjoyed just sitting back and watching!
