The girls and I headed out to the Kansas City Zoo on Saturday! We have been anxious to check out the new polar bear...

The girls spent quite a bit of time watching him swim...

They also enjoyed feeding lots of different animals along the way...well Mal enjoyed feeding them.

Whitney didn't want her hands all "yucky" so she tossed the food into the animals...

The had a great time going on a camel ride...

Mal was pretty excited about the frogs...

Whit was the happiest standing up watching her zebras...

We had a GREAT time!!!

Mallory had her first school activity Friday. It was a Watermelon Feed :) She was very busy playing with her friends so I only got one quick pic of her face and shirt....but it is so cute to see her with her classmates and her little friend Charlie. She loves school and I love the teacher and the staff. We are off to a great Kindergarten year! And of course the final pic is my littlest princess having a blast on the playground with the big kids :)

These pictures crack me up!! They were taken by my mom on Back to School Night when she watched the girls. We have a friend of the family living with us in the basement while he is doing his student teaching and the kids LOVE playing with him. He is so great with the girls and they think he is their new best friend. The really wanted some pictures of them with Josh and this is what happened when mom tried to use my camera! :) I guess Josh will have to remain a mystery to all of you for now! :)

Can you tell by looking at these photos that Mal is totally in LOVE with Leo?? She SO is :) She just can't get enough of him and is the BEST helper when he is here with us on Tuesday and Thursday. I think she will be a great help when Bentley arrives :)

Mallory had a FANTASTIC first day of Kindergarten yesterday! She was so excited and not nervous or upset at all! She had a great time and is so excited to head back today! I can't believe our little girl is already in Kindergarten!!!! I peeked back on her three times before I finally left the building!!!

Please join me in praying for her this school year to have a great teacher, make wonderful friends, learn a lot and just have a wonderful time!

Hubby is safely in West Palm Beach and started work on the project there yesterday. This afternoon he will begin the search for a place for us to live during our time there. I miss him like crazy and I am so proud of how hard he works for our family. We love you so much Scotty!!!!!!

So most of you know that we are a bowling family...Scott and I both bowled as kids and we continue to have a love for bowling. We have been in leagues together and Scott continues to attend the national tournament each year. It is pretty much a total blast and pretty hilarious. We took the girls the other day and of course as usual they had the best time. My favorite is Whit just chilling waiting for her ball to reach the pins! We had to have her ball rescued 3 times because it didn't make it all the way down :) We signed the girls up for the pee wee bowling league on Saturday mornings....I CAN NOT WAIT! It is just going to be so much fun! I hope you can help them or we could be there awhile waiting on Whit! Ha! Kansas LOVE!!!

Wheeeee!

On the move again...this is a picture of us in front of our San Antonio house right after we moved there two years ago. It is so amazing to me to look back at it now and think about how sad I was to move there. You would think I would now by now that God is in control and he makes the plans, not me. San Antonio was such an amazing time for us. We loved it there and miss it so much. The girls and I have been having so much fun in Kansas City getting to spend so much time with family. I can not put into words how much the time here has meant to me. Especially watching my nephew two days a week. But Scott being away from us has been miserable. We have realized through this time of him traveling that our priority is being together as a family above all else. Scott just got assigned to a project in West Palm Beach, FL and will be moving there next week. The girls and I will stay here in Kansas City until Bentley is here safe and sound and we are given the all clear to travel and then we will pack up and move to sunny Florida. I can't wait to see our family photo in front of our next home. What a blessing it is to have each other and see the world together. We are so blessed and thankful for every day together. Please join us in prayer as I go through these hot weeks waiting for our precious son and still being apart from Scott. Please also join us in prayer for Scott's safe travels and that he finds the perfect fit for a home for our family in West Palm. Finally we ask you to pray that our precious Mallory will adjust switching Kindergartens when we move. We have already talked about and she is excited and fine with it but I am still concerned about all the transitioning. Thank you for joining us in prayers. We love you all!

The girls just finished there two weeks of swimming lessons. This was Whitney's first year and she loved it :) She did not want to put her head under the water but she did great on everything else...the teacher said she needs to repeat Preschool 1 next year to continue working on putting her head under the water :) She is just so stinkin' cute!!!

This was Mal's second year and she did great! The last day she even jumped off the diving board and swam to the side by herself! So cool! :) She is turning into a little fish and she is not pleased on the days we have to stay home from the pool (like today when we have a excessive heat warning) but we do go swimming pretty much every other day so she has been having a great summer :)
