SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a WHITE CHRISTMAS! It snowed on and off for several days and I think the final count was about 14inches with drifts well over 2 feet!!! The girls LOVE it! They want to make sure that the snow is staying here until we leave so they can play in it everyday :) It is really fun for us since we never have any snow in San Antonio! We will take all the snow we can get while we are here and then head back to the 60-70 degree weather in a few weeks :)

Merry Christmas!

s
We had a very Merry Christmas morning! It is so fun to watch the kids find all their Santa surprises...he left a few crumbs from his cookies and took a carrot for each reindeer as well as leaving behind a note, presents, and very full stockings!!! Mal has been sick this past week and we were a little concerned we were going to end up in urgent care (as you can see from one pic of her early on in the morning) but she improved through out the day....praise the Lord! We had so much fun giving out our gifts to everyone and the girls enjoyed all their presents...the Camera and Easy Bake Oven were both really big hits. We are so blessed and can't thank everyone enough for all the love. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Here are some pics of the fam ready to head to Christmas Eve service....you can see it is not an easy task to get both the little darlings smiling nicely in the same frame :) We did make it to Christmas Eve service but it was a close call with all the snow and ice. Praise Jesus for safe travels and the time we were able to spend worshiping him and celebrating his birth! Love to you all!

Rudy is a "Princess"

e
Oh yes people that is right....Rudy is a PRINCESS!!! Whitney is back in action with her best buddy in the entire world....The Mayor himself Rudy Guiliania Moore! They have had lots of wonderful moments including feeding him half a bag of treats which led to him being a little ill....but the highlight so far was when she said "Ta-Da! Look Mommy Rudy is a Princess!" I hope you enjoy these priceless pics!!! LOVE!

He is a mean one...Uncle Binch....

Okay so he actually isn't mean at all....he is one of the girls favorite people and we don't actually spell his name with an i but....he pretends he is a Grinch at Christmas time so I thought it was fitting. The girls had a great time playing with Uncle Bench at Mimi's house and the especially enjoyed "tickling" him with feather dusters....I thought this was hilarious I am not sure he agreed :)
Love you Bench!!!!

Santa in a Truck!

So...when the rest of us were at the baby shower Papi and Adam watched the girls. They had seen some signs that my parents Home Owners Association was having a Santa come around the neighborhood between 1-2....they kept their eyes out for him and as it neared two o'clock there was still no sign of Santa....then Papi heard honking and ran out to stop Santa while Uncle Adam put one girl under each arm and came running out of the house just in time to visit Santa....in the back of a red truck....yes that is right the girls visited Santa in a truck! Hilarious :)

St. Jude's Ranch

Our family had the honor of adopting a Christmas child from St. Judes Ranch in Bulverde, TX this holiday season. I know most people probably think of it like we helped the child we provided Christmas for but she actually blessed my life more than I could have ever imagined. We received her Christmas wish list and went shopping together as a family to get her presents. Then we were able to go out to the ranch and deliver them in person and spend time with our little girl as well as all the kids and staff. Seeing those children and spending time with them... Touring the rooms where they live...it touched my heart in the deepest way. Seeing the joy on that precious girls face when she found out we got her a bike was just overwhelming to me. I hope to continue spending time out at St. Jude's Ranch and I hope our girls will grow up with the same love and compassion for ministering to those in need that my parents raised my sisters and I with...if you have any opportunities come your way to help this organzation or one like it I highly recommend getting involved. Remember Jesus is the Reason for the Season! We love you all!

Thomas and the Train Party

On Saturday Whit had a birthday party to go to for her best buddy in her Mother's Day Out class. Brandon was turning 3 and had a Thomas the Train themed party at his house. It was super cute and complete even with train hats and train whistles. I didn't have my camera with me but when we got home I quickly snapped a few shots of her in her car seat enjoying the party goodies :)

Princess and the Frog

Leaving McDonald's

Picking up our tickets!

Watching the pre-show excited for the movie to start!

Whit had her eyes covered because it was "scary" she uncovered them for a quick pic! :)

On Friday after the Christmas Pageant the girls best buddies, Peyton and Lexi came with us to spend a fantastic afternoon together! :-) We started at out house for some play time and then went to McDonald's for lunch and the girls of course played in the playland and then I took them all (yes 4 precious little girls ages 4 and under) to see Princess and the Frog on opening day at the Movie Theater! We had the BEST time!!! The girls were all perfect and we all had so much fun! The movie was the best Disney I have seen in quite awhile! I highly recommend it for girls and boys! :) Love to you all!

Christmas Pageant Pics...

Ready to head to Coker Day School!

Whit had to make sure I had pictures of her :)

Ready to start the show!

Waiting to begin...

The sillies set in! :)

I hope y'all enjoyed the video clips of Mallory from her Christmas pageant :) It was so cute!!! Here are a few pics that I am just now uploading. Nothing gets your heart in the Christmas spirit like watching a choir of angels made up of God's precious children. Love to you all from Texas!

12.11.2009

Here is a couple of clips from the Christmas Pageant at Coker Day School today....Mallory was either fake singing or not singing at all the entire time....she was cracking people up with her stage "performance" I knew it wasn't going to go very well when this morning on the way there she told me..."Mommy I don't want to sit on stage and sing forever....I am tired of it and it gets so boring" I guess maybe they practiced a little too much!!! Hilarious!

Another game of dress up!

My precious princesses!

My little punkin pie!

Silly princess

Whit checking herself out! :)

This afternoon the girls were having so much fun putting on "fashion shows" for me....I guess this is really almost a daily activity but I haven't posted any pictures of the "shows" in quite awhile so I thought I would share a few with you :) They were just totally cracking me up....Mal's tree is right next to the dress up trunk and every time Whit would get something out she would stop and stand in front of the tree and starting singing at the top of her lungs "Christmas tree....oh Christmas tree" and I have to say I was pretty impressed that she knew a lot of the song and even had the right tune!!! Too funny!!! TEXAS LOVE!
