Y'all I am feeling your prayers. The Lord is so good and faithful. We have been busy enjoying all Calgary has to offer and I have even made an American friend!! :) I am just as excited to eventually make Canadian friends but it is really nice to connect with someone who understands the differences and has the same heart for "home"
We have been on some fun play dates and were invited to a church that had an amazing message and the kids loved their children's program. :)

Whit Grace spent a week at gymnastics camp and LOVED it! She made some little friends and is excited to take classes there this year! She is such a tumbler! :)

We have been spending lots of time outside riding bikes...Mal Pal almost has it mastered!! She is so close :) Just like her mama, a little cautious and late to learn due to fear of falling! ha!

B keeps us on our toes...not much new there ;) He is hilarious...his vocabulary is doubling every day. He make us laugh out loud with some of the things he says...and cringe sometimes too...he totally absorbs everything the girls say and repeats in context...lately he has been loving telling us anything but Bob the Builder or Thomas the Train is "a booo-ring show" thanks for that one Whit ;)

And...he apparently is ready for winter...he wants to wear his snow boots all the time...even with shorts in the 80 degree weather...

We had our first visitors...Scott's parents came to visit. The kids had tons of fun, sewing, playing games and get time with their grandparents. We made our first trip to the mountains while they were here. It is very serene and picturesque. Its about a 2 hour drive to Banff and then another 30 minutes to Lake Louise. We all enjoyed seeing it. Once is probably good but I am glad I can say I checked it out ;)

While Scott's parents were here we had some nice weather and were able to enjoy our lake community a few times. The kids had lots of fun "fishing" for the little tadpoles...and B had some really crazy sunscreen/bedhead hair going on ;)

We were also able to catch a nice cool overcast day to check out a place called Heritage Park. Sadly the zoo was flooded out right after we bought passes...but the other summer places around offered 1/2 off to zoo members...anyway we thought we would give something else a try. This was place was totally unique, cute and fun! Its a little historic village with rides, food, a steam engine (that we took a ride on...B was over the moon) the staff is in costume/character for the time period. It was really fun!! It was nice that we were able to take the grandparents along!

Over in the village they had the Mounties and the jail...sadly Whit and B were to scared to enter...its really to bad because that would have been a framer for Uncle Bench ;) Whit was all excited to go in and take a pic for Bench and then she saw it and panicked....a bit too realistic. But Scott and Mal hopped right in ;)

Scott and I were able to go on a date night!! It was pretty exciting!! We have loved every minute of our family time but getting out for just adult time was a-mazing!! Of course it would have been perfect with a glass of wine...but I will take it for now ;) hahah!
Love my man!

Scott's parents are en route back to Kansas as I type. We appreciate them making the long journey so much. We hope y'all enjoyed your time here! :)

Psalms 89:15,16
"Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all day long, And in Your righteousness they are exalted.
