We went to Homestead Village in Waco...it was so unique and I LOVED it! I felt like I was on Little House on the Prairie. It's not just showing you how people used to live. It is a colony that actually still lives the old way of life. They have an awesome village with a Pottery House, Gristmill, Blacksmith, Wood Shop...etc...you get to learn and see how they make things and you can purchase them. The girls enjoyed it as much as I did :)
This is a picture of a butterfly garden for my dad. The girls get SO excited when they find one...they are hoping to create one with Papi ;)
When we were leaving I was telling Scott how awesome it was and how I totally wish we raised our family like that...he cracked up...I guess we aren't moving to the old world colony ;)
