Coker Day School Christmas Pageant

I have never seen such a sweet display of the story of Jesus Christs birth. These precious children touched my heart today and reminded me of the true meaning of Christmas. I watched Mallory along with all the other 3 and 4 year olds sing their precious little hearts out in the "Choir of Angels" to the sweetest songs...my personal favorites..."Mary Had A Baby Named Jesus" and "Sing it on A Mountain"....the Kindergarten class acted out the Christmas story while the Choir of Angels sang the songs. They were so excited and new every word! The day school director cried as she concluded the pageant saying every year this display of true love for Jesus from these little children just moves her so much. I must agree with her! In the car ride on the way home as Mal was still singing the songs Whitney started singing to..."baby jus baby jus" Mallory said, "Oh mommy isn't is so great that Jesus was born because God loves us? Did you know Mary was Jesus' mommy just like you are my mommy and God chose Mary to be Jesus' mommy just like he chose you to be mine." I had tears rolling down my cheeks as I listened to my precious angels in the back seat. I am so blessed, so truly blessed.

Christ Church Christmas Party

We were able to be in town for the first annual Childrens Christmas Party at Christ Church. It was SO cute and everybody there did a great job organizing it! The girls got to make some really cute Christmas crafts and hear the story of Saint Nicholas. They also had their pictures taken with Mimi! Too Cute! We are excited to be at home for Christmas in just 2 weeks! Love you Mimi!

Elmo Slippers

The girls were so excited to show off their new Elmo slippers that Mimi bought for them! Mom was so worried about their feet being cold in the house...(it is 80 degrees in Texas so we didn't really think about slippers) Mom had the girls pick out some slippers at the store... Whit chose her favorite, Elmo and Mal wanted to match her...:) They loved wearing them around the house. Here they are showing them off while they are playing in Mimi's playroom!

At home with the Fam!

We just returned to Texas after having a fantastic trip home this weekend! We were able to spend a few days at home because Scott had to be in the office for work on Friday! What a blessing it was to have a few extra days with family! :-) We had so much fun! I really enjoyed the cold weather but of course my favorite thing was decorating for Christmas at my moms and having my whole family around. There is something about all being in one place that is so heart warming. It doesn't matter what we do or what we talk about it is just wonderful being together. I have the most amazing family! I LOVE YOU GUYS! See you in 2 weeks!

Whitney and the Phone

Whitney LOVES the phone...cordless phones, cell phones, pretend phones, all phones ....even Ipods...she kept putting my mom's Ipod up to her ear and she would say, "Hello? then a whole bunch of languages we did not understand and then Bye!" It was so funny! My favorite is when she plays on the phone in the kitchen that my mom has in the playroom at her house. It was my sisters when we were little....Whitney picks it up and says..."Hey What doing? She doesn't want to share and she just keeps talking" Scott and I are afraid that this is a sign of what the future holds...never having the phone available again :)

I will tell you that they are a business committed to making the earth a better place to leave behind for our children! Family Pictures

We had our family pictures made on Friday...I am pretty happy with the way they turned out! The photographer did a great job working with the girls. I was a little nervous how I would look since I had already been awake for around 30 hours at this point! :) As my mom said "It's a good thing they let you sit down or you might have fallen over!" Too funny! Here are a few of the many that turned out! :)

Christmas Festival

We went to the Schlitterbahn Christmas Festival last night while Stacey was still visiting us. The girls go to see Santa...as you can see Whit doesn't have the love for him this year! Mal however came prepared with her list and was happy to share it with Santa...after we left Mal said..."Poor Whitney that was so sad...now she won't get any toys from Santa...but I will share all of mine...he has my list! " Hilarious! We also saw Rudolph and a million lights :) It was a great time!

The Market Square

We headed down to the Market Square on Saturday to check out the festival going on. The flea market they have there is really fun and we found some really neat hand made items. There were also some street performers...you never know what your going to find in San Antonio!

Midnight Madness

After a wonderful Thanksgiving day with delicious food and a wonderful time with the girls at the park. Stacey and I decided to brave the Midnight Madness Sale at the outlet mall. It was supposed to open at Midnight so we got there around 10:30 to make sure we could find a place to park. When we arrived some stores were already open so we began our bargain shopping! We did not stop until 5:00 and then we stopped by Wal-Mart on our way home! The deals were AMAZING and I have almost all my Christmas shopping done. The craziest thing out there was the line to get in the Coach store. It was one in one out the entire time we were there. I have included some pics from the line (which I was not in) CRAZY! :)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

We just wanted to wish everyone a blessed Thanksgiving day and let you all know how thankful we are for each one of you in our lives. We are truly blessed and so grateful for all we have in our lives!!!! We love you! HUGS!!!!

Funtastic Playland

Scott had the day off yesterday and we decided to go try out a new indoor play place we heard about it! It was SO much fun! They had lots of activities to do! The girls loved all the regular favorites...slides, playground, inflatables....but then they had a BLAST playing air hockey and basketball! Scott has so much fun playing basketball with the girls! It was hilarious! He didn't think I had much skill though...even though I know I do ;) Whit was cracking us up with the way she flips herself around and comes flying down the slide on her stomach! What a little wild woman! What a great time!!! Love to all!

My Silly Monkeys

I tried to record the girls doing this silly running game that they love to do! They stand against the wall and yell.. Ready! Steady! Go!... and they run and jump on their anywhere chairs. Whit usually throws something up in the air on her way! Tonight they were being extra silly and I didn't have a lot of luck getting it on tape...here is a clip of what I got! :) Love to you all!

Silly Girl

Whitney LOVES to climb into the stuffed animal box and Mallory loves to bury her in until just her head is sticking out! They are so silly and they laugh and laugh! Their laughter is so sweet you can't help but burst out laughing with them...what a wonderful day it is to be sitting and laughing for such a silly reason! :-) I just love this age and cherish this time with the girls! Last night we made chocolate chip cookies and Scott and I were cracking up because they were both helping and Whit was flinging more ingredients out than she was stirring...they were a little flat but they still tasted yummy! Love you guys!

Day at the Zoo

On Thursday the girls and I met Mal's friend from school, Peyton and her mom, Erin and little sister, Lexi at the SA Zoo...Erin's friend Marissa came as well with her little girl Hannah....The girls had a BLAST together.....I don't think they cared all that much if they were at the zoo or not they just loved running around an hanging out. Mal had so much fun with Peyton and Whit was running around with Lexi and Hannah like she was all grown up! Too cute! After the zoo we went out and rode on the miniature train..It was a great day! (Yes, my Kansas friends, it was 80 degrees outside when we were there!!!) It is an awesome zoo and the weather is so nice here we bought a season pass :) Guess what that means...all visitors will get to see the zoo :-) Love to you all!

Deck the Halls....

Since we already celebrated our Thanksgiving in Kansas I was ready to put up all the Christmas decorations! The girls were SO excited and could not wait to help! They did a great job decorating the tree...especially the bottom two rows :-) They helped me get everything "just right" but Mal says Santa can't visit our house because we do not have a fireplace for him to "come shooting down" but she is not too worried about it because Mimi and Papi have two fire places so Santa can shoot down both of those to bring her some presents :-) HILARIOUS! :-) Whitney kept saying...TREE...PREEETY! She would watch me open each box and say..."OHHHHHH! What doing?" I love how fast her vocabulary has been building recently! :) Enjoy the pictures! Love to all!
