Spring Break Day 3

Wednesday we went to Paint Glaze and Fire....little man spend a fun morning playing with Grandma Terri :) The ceramics shop would not have appreciated his cuteness ;)
The girls LOVED this activity! They both say its there favorite thing from the week! Mal's bestie from school joined us! The three of them get along so well together that it worked out great!

Mal chose a dog treat jar...of course its not for dog treats "that would be silly mommy" she chose it because dogs are her favorite animal and she can keep "treasures" inside! :)

Whit Grace chose a butterfly piggy bank! She is super excited to see how it turned out "I really want to see all my polka dots...they got a little downy...you know drippy...I think that is going to look awesome!"

Silly friends trying to display their artwork...however its hidden behind them. I guess we will have to wait for the big reveal when we go to pick them up! :)

"Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast loves endures forever."
Psalm 107:1

Spring Break Day 2
We headed out to the Kansas City Zoo to enjoy the gorgeous 80 degree sunny day! We were so excited Auntie Amy and Cousin Leo could join us! I am so in love with this pic of the 4 kiddos...framer for sure!!

I was luck to get one with all 4 before little man slipped away :) He LOVED looking at the animals and I didn't let him down here and there...

How cute is that? He did spend a lot of quality time riding in his very favorite form of transportation...his red wagon :) We had the best day! Thanks for coming sister...and getting us to the front of the insane 500 people deep line with your fabulous Friends of the Zoo membership...that rocked! :)

Spring Break Day 1

We started out our week with a art class and a morning a Kidscape!  We had such a fun time!! I managed to get a few pictures but for the most part I was busy crafting, playing, and of course chasing :) If you haven't checked out Kidscape I highly recommend checking it out. Its located inside the Johnson County Museum.

Mal describing her 3-D art picture "its a beautiful purple princess and her maids are fanning her to keep her cool" say what?? Hilarious...I don't know where she comes up with some of these ideas ;) hahah!

The kids totally love it...there is a farm area, store, library, hospital, arts and crafts, golf, Wii, fishing, and best of all A STAGE with curtains, working lights, costumes...the works!! SO much FUN!

B loved the farm area especially the tractor!

My little farmers! :)

We followed our morning up with a playtime and a  happy meal and then went to pick out new glasses for Whit...she chose pink!! Who's surprised? :) We pick them up today so pictures to come!

Look at that face! Oh my precious Whitney you can not be starting Kinder in the fall!! This Mama is SO not ready for it. You are my little love bug...my best pal...my favorite shadow that I miss so terribly when you aren't there. Good thing they have half day kinder in Kansas!! That will make it easier on me to have you with me for most of the day! ;)

You had the best time at kinder round up! I was so nervous! I am very protective of you. You are so outgoing with our little family but you are extremely shy around others. You are such a bright girl and you have done so amazing catching up on the things you were missing from before you had your glasses. I am just so proud of you and I am a bundle of nerves thinking about sending you off into the hands of a teacher. I know you will do awesome! I just wish I could be with you! :)

Look at that face! You were having so much fun doing a letter find with another incoming kinder girl! You were so excited and have been talking about it a lot since that night. But you still say "Good thing I get to be  home for lunch during kindergarten because I would miss you too much" and every Thursday when we are getting ready for preschool you say "But I can't go today I already missed you yesterday"  (you go on MWTH)....MeLt my HeArT!! I love you so much my little monkey!!

These pictures pretty much speak for themselves :) I had the BEST time reading to Mallory's class dressed as the Cat in the Hat during Read Across America week. I made some Pinterest inspired Cats hat cupcakes that the kids enjoyed eating while I read. I just adore having opportunities to be involved in our kids classrooms. I will cherish the memories always and I hope my kids will look back and smile when they remember too :)
So I know I recently mentioned how my favorite way to spend the day is outside in the sunshine with our precious kiddos... but maybe I am really undecided...a cool rainy day inside at "Mal and Whit's" or "Whit and Mal's" Fairy beauty shop is really fabulous and it may also be my favorite way to spend the afternoon. Of course this usually takes place during nap time because a certain little toddler enjoys messing up the salon ;) Just look at these girls....awww!! LOVE IT!!! and just look at our fab make up!! There was nail polish and glitter involved to of course! One of Whit's favorite things to say for make up or art projects is "Perfect....now it just needs a touch of glitter!!!" Thats my girl!!! :)

There is nothing sweeter on this earth than seeing Scotty with his kids. So precious. Melts my heart. EvErY TiMe!! A few weeks ago Scott took Mallory to her Princess and the Frog Daddy/Daughter Dance for Girl Scouts....so sweet! Let the melting begin...

She was SO excited to being going on a date with her daddy. She was so proud of her beautiful pink dress and her pink corsage. They danced and danced until the very end. And she even got a "patch" we are SO keeping that for always...

I was a little envious and I so wanted to be a fly on the wall with my camera in hand...but it was their night. A night they will both remember always and I hope to see it repeated year after year and Whitney will soon be going to. Really...MELTS my heart :)

We had so much fun at Whitney's birthday party at Debbie Howard's Gym...I am sad to say I did not do a very good job of taking pictures. :( Here is one of a few of the kiddos..I can't believe I didn't get a whole group shot! Whitney had so much fun with all her friends and family!

Her theme was the "The Chippettes" she is SO loving them right now! I used the same cake lady from Bentley's first birthday party and created a Chippettes cake for Whit Grace :)

She was so happy!!! (Poor little bug had been fighting a cold all week so that is why she looks a little swollen! We were so glad she was feeling better for her big party!)

She was so spoiled by all her friends and family with so many fabulous gifts!! Thank you!! I must say this Chippettes nightgown was a HUGE hit...the little princess seriously has me wash it every single day so she can wear it every single night. I kid you not :) The other day she even came down and put it in the washing machine to make sure I wouldn't forget!!! :) Hahahha! Thank you O'brians :)

We had so much fun and Whit will remember this special party for a long time to come! Thank you for loving on our little princess with us! xoxoxo Love you Whitney!

On Whitney's birthday morning she woke up to this...

Mallory and I had so much fun wrapping all her presents and setting up her birthday morning surprise :) Whitney loved it!! After she opened them we headed out for a special Mommy and Whitney birthday breakfast.

It was extra special because the other birthday kiddo in our family got to join us :

Our best little buddy cousin Leo has his birthday the day after Whitney's so Amy and I took them together to a special birthday breakfast at First Watch :) We had SO much fun! Later when we got home Whitney blew out her 5 candle on her birthday cake! It was such a special family day!

SO blessed every day of the last 5 years because this precious girl is in our lives! Can't wait to see what the next 100 years bring ;) I love you Whitney Grace!! xoxoxo

My little super hero ;) Bentley had a great time on our family day out to Paradise Park. It was so cute to see him running around playing with all the toys! This was him "cooking" in the pizza parlor! He is such a delight and growing way too fast!

My baby girl turned 5...there I said it..or typed it. I really have not faced it yet. She is my baby. My sweet little buddy. She can't be 5 already!!?? She is such a light in our lives. She keeps us on our toes, keeps us laughing, and keeps us on our parenting game ;) She is spunky and funny. She is full of ideas and curiousity. She is tender hearted and shy. She is loud and silly. She can dance like no body else ;) She loves to say "shake what your mama gave you" courtesy of Alvin and the Chipmunks!

She is smart and inventive. She has an imagination that goes on for days. She is loving to her brother and sister and can SO hold her own with them at the same time. This little girl is a gift I can not put into words. I am humbled by her presence in my life. I get on my knees and thank God for her all the time. She just brings me such great joy. I am so so so glad that I get to be her mother.

These pictures are etched on my heart. This photo shoot was a total blast and she kept me laughing the whole time. She is opinionated and hilarious. Have I mentioned how much fun she is??!!

Happy Birthday my precious Whitney Grace. You are my "sunny sunny sunshine girl" yesterday, today and everyday of my life.

I love you,
Mommy

There are so many things I love and look forward to each day. One of my absolute favorite things to do with our kiddos is spend time together outside. I love to watch them run around in the sunshine. I love the fresh air. I love hearing there laughter outdoors. It has a musical sound that just makes me smile as it carries off in the distance.

I adore pushing them on the swings...watching the pure joy on their faces and in their smiles. It is just breath taking. Its moments like that when I think...this is what life is about. This is why I am here.

The things the girls say and talk about when we are playing are just amazing. I love the questions they think of and the stories they tell me. I love the "girls only club" they make in the fort....Poor little B buddy. ;) I love climbing in the sandbox and building with them. I love watching Bentley explore the yard and be so amazed by the things he discovers.

Our kids are amazing to me. So amazing and so wonderful. We are so blessed. I am just in awe of them. And as I write this I see the sunshine calling our name...another beautiful Kansas day to head out to explore and enjoy together.

15 Months

I love you so much precious boy! You are 28 pounds and around 32+ inches...we didn't get an actually height reading at your check up because you were SO upset about being laid down to measure. We kept trying and you almost fell of the table so we just had to call it done...Dr. Jackson said you are "perfect" and he is not concerned at all about your growth. He said "just look at those paws...not doubt about it he will be a Great Dane" ahahahah :) My little linebacker ;)

I just can not get enough of you little man...you are such a joy! You fill our lives with so much fun and laughter. Your sisters adore you as much daddy and I do. You are quite the busy boy...into everything all the time!! Really...always ;) haha! You are talking more and more each day. Right now you can say....mama, dada, Mal, Hit (Whit), Ball, Up, Down, All done, teeth, baby, no, dog...and you say new words daily. You make my days so happy!

I love you to the moon Bentley Bean!!!!
