Girl Time!

We were able to spend time with my dear friend Valerie today and have a playdate with her precious little girl Chloe. It was so great to see them! Val is a close friend from college and we student taught together at the same school. It is just so fun to spend time together as mommy's!!! It seems like yesterday we were heading out on the town in Pittsburg ;)
Love you Val!

Our Mimi

It didn't take Mimi long at all to be in full force PLAY PLAY PLAY mode!
The girls dressed her up and she was ready to go!
Whit and her Mimi

Mimi and Whit baking cookies (Mal took all of these pictures) :-)

The girls are thrilled to be busy playing with Mimi :) She was with them this afternoon and Mal got her camera and took lots of silly pictures while they were baking and playing dress up! So fun! :) Love to all!

Poor Rudy...

Sarah "Whit what are you doing?" Whit "TAPING RUDY!"

Poor Rudy just keeps on eating as Whit is scotch taping him!

Whit decided Rudy was done and wanted to clean up his food....

She got a spoon and scooped the food out as he was eating and put it into the trash can.

It didn't take Whitney any time at all to remember her best friend in the whole world is....RUDY... poor little dog! Whit just can't get enough of him, however, we think that the feeling is mutual. Rudy seems to totally love Whit...The adventures of Whitney and Rudy...I see a children's book in the future ;) Love to all!

Swimming Lessons

We arrived safely back home to Kansas on Sunday night...we had a great trip up...it took about 14 hours including 6 potty stops and an hour and a half in OKC with Steph. Mimi, Papi, Amy and Adam were all here when we arrived! It is so great to be home! :-) Mal started swimming lessons yesterday and she LOVES it! Whitney is not so pleased that she has to come with and doesn't get to swim...so, tomorrow I am going to let her swim in the baby pool during Mal's lessons. Love to all!

Fun with Friends

Last night we went out to a yummy burger place with some friends.
It was a great time. :-)
They have an awesome deck you can sit out on and they have a big grassy/astroturf area where the kids can run around and play soccer, catch etc...and they have big chalk boards with sidewalk chalk that the girls had a awesome time with...
An awesome time coloring all over themselves and each other rather than the chalk board :-) That's okay...it washes off and they had alot of fun doing it :) We had a great evening...

Love to all...can't wait to see everyone in KS in one week!

CIRCUS

We went to the Circus yesterday (4th of July) we had a GREAT time :)
We went early and did the animal open house and the pre-show where the kids could dress up in costumes (which Whit wanted NO part of) and watch clown shows (which Whit LOVED) the girls TOTALLY LOVED dancing on the stage down on the main circus floor!!!...Scott and I were not that impressed with the circus but it was still a fun family day. I must admit the tigers made me sad...I just have to think they are mistreated to perform like that :( but again, the kiddos thought it was all so COOL. We will be heading to KC... TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY!!!!
Love you guys!

Cupcake Junction

We saw this cute little cupcake shop on the news during the "Fun things to do for cheap this summer" segment and I knew the kids would LOVE it!!! For 1.50 they got to choose their cupcake and then head over to the cupcake decorating bar and decorate away! There were all kinds of frosting colors and they were in the little piping tubes so they could make designs then they had every candy, sprinkle, and cookie crumb you could think of to add on top of the icing. When you are finished you head over to the little tables and eat away :)! Awesome! The girls had a GREAT time! What a fun idea!!! :)
